This is one of the changes that I fear may start happening to schools throughout Kentucky. As a future music teacher, I am well aware that there is a limited amount of music positions open in the public schools, and I am afraid that those numbers are dropping. It is important that a child has the option of being creative and expressing their emotions through music. It could be used as a reliever and many children could use the opportunity to explore new ways to learn. Music is just as important as the other primary subjects.
