Beshear Plan would actually cut $16 million from schools next year, $22 million in 2010

We all heard it. No cuts to the SEEK per pupil spending. But if the Beshear plan is approved, the state's share of that per pupil allocation will be reduced by $16 million in the first year of the biennium and another $22 million in the second year. Local districts would be left to make up the difference.
