A 15-year-old West Virginia high school freshman faces prison after police linked him to a handwritten ransom note demanding $20,000 - to keep him from blowing up the school with students inside.
The boy, told police it was a joke.
The police told the boy he was facing one to three years in prison and a $2,000 fine.
