Principal-teacher tryst captured months ago - by secret camera concealed in principal's office

Is the release of the school sex DVD timed to sway board vote?
Investigators Friday were trying to determine if the person who planted a hidden camera in a Lynwood principal's office, capturing two months of sexual romps, was trying to manipulate the outcome of next Tuesday's school board election.

Sandridge Elementary Principal Leroy Coleman resigned, citing health problems, and teacher Janet Loften resigned, citing a family illness, after school officials confronted them about their activities in a 2½-hour DVD that surfaced this week.

The video, apparently made with a camera hidden in the ceiling of Coleman's office, captures a mostly clothed couple in a variety of positions and in an assortment of sexual acts, including some at the edge of a desk covered with carefully stacked papers. A second woman also appears on the video separately with Coleman, according to officials who saw the DVD.

John Izzo, attorney for Sandridge School District 172, noted that the sex romps were recorded in December and January, but the DVD didn't start to appear in mailboxes of the media and parents until Wednesday.
